Slamdance Film Festival Deadline
Hey guys, I just want to let you all know that the deadline for submissions for the 2009 Slamdance Film Festival is quickly approaching. October 10th is the final deadline so be sure to log on to their site and get all the details and submit your work. Slamdance is highly regarded as a premiere festival for Indie filmmakers so it would be great exposure to get accepted. Best of luck to you all.

Forums!!
Greetings everyone. When you read this announcement, you'll notice that we've made a few aesthetic changes to the members' area and, more importantly, we finally added FORUMS to the site. I'm pleased with them and hope that you will all use them to your benefit. You'll notice a category called, Suggestions...use this to suggest more topics and they will be included promptly. New Forums Coming
Hi Everyone. In response to some recent inquiries, I wanted to clarify something. We disabled the old forums because...well...they sucked. We are currently developing custom built, very robust forums that will hopefully be live in a month or so.
Additionally, we're adding some other very cool new features that will make the site much more interactive. Bear with us...cool things are happening.

LA meet and greet
Hi everyone. This is for all the LA area members. I will be out there this weekend attending the closing ceremonies of the LA Film Festival and would love to work out a time and place where we can all meet. Anyone want to suggest a bar that we can all sort of trickle in and out of? I'd say Saturday night is probably our best bet but I can do Sunday night too. This could actually be better as it wont be as crowded. I leave this in you guys' hands as I don't know LA well enough to suggest anything. All the best to everyone.
